Health and physical education for Generation Z... In keeping with the information society, social media, and diversity of the age, today's health and physical education has undergone significant updates in both content and teaching methods. A stark departure from the days when male and female students were separated into separate classrooms and given a cursory lesson on the workings of the body and sexuality, co-education is the norm, opinions are actively exchanged, LGBTQ issues are addressed seriously, and more practical classes are offered. Teachers themselves also participate, digging deeper into sex topics such as how to put on a condom and differences in views on sexual preferences and consent. This helps students to reassess their perceptions of sex, which they then learn by actually having sex in health and physical education classes.
