A few years after getting married, Kawai, a student preparing for college entrance exams, moves in next door to the Shiraki couple, who are living happily together. Kawai fell in love with Yuko at first sight and boldly confessed his feelings to the married woman. Naturally, Yuko refused, but one day, smoke started pouring out of Kawai's house.
